Association of National Numbering Agencies

FIRDS
Financial Instruments Reference Database System
The FIRDS database is published by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and lists the metadata of all financial instruments covered by Directive 2014/65/EU on markets in financial instruments (MiFID II).
FCA FIRDS
Trading venue operators (RMs and MTFs) and UK systematic internalisers (SIs) report to the FCA the details of financial instruments traded on their venues. This instrument reference data is published in the FCA’s Financial Instruments Reference Data System (FCA FIRDS).

It is a community-driven and collaborative project open to everyone, supplemented by data from satellite tracking of vessels equipped with an AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponder. The database provides information about ships (details about the place of construction, dimensions, gross tonnage, and International Maritime Organization number).
